Vinage Button hole maker
I have been having issues with my Brother making button holes. Its very frustrating to get to end of a project only one item left to do and it ruinsthe whole thing. This has been going on for over 6 months. As a result ive been using kam snaps. However there are times you really need buttons. My friend said nothing beats a vintage button hole maker. Image how excited i was that i have one! Worked straight out box. I need to practice but YES!!!!

repurposed a quinceanera dress for a little girl. 1950 pattern
Just finished a 1950 pattern from a used quinceanera dresses. My machine is not making button holes ( rather just destroying when I try and use it). So I used snaps. This is from a 1950's pattern.

Cute Jumpers
My goal is to try new items. Also make myself more. These are not very hard but sewing on knit is not as easy as it seems. The serger is great but the details on the sewing machine is wonkie at best. This does come in an adult size.

Adapting a Pattern and loving it!!!
This was an experiment. This is the same pattern as the coat I made for mom only in a child's size. This is a 2T. I had to adapt the pattern becouse it called for a lining. This is flannel and warm enough on its own for cool days. I kept with snaps instead of buttons. Also to support the snaps i put an additional strip along the inside. Lined the collar seam with a soft fuzzy ribbon. You'll notice the material is going the wrong direction on back. Miss cut. Except for the details all serged. Honestly I ❤it!

Fourth of July weekend 2020
With the quarentine still somewhat on here we hung around the house :) . It was also my Birthday weekend I heard from quite a few people wishing me Happy Birthday even some I had not heard from in over ten years. That was the best gift this year. I felt so blessed that after all that time they still remembered me and my birthday.❤
Been working on a trial run jacket for my mom. Honestly I think it may be just to much for her. This was close to five yards of fabric. ( this fabric is my lets try a pattern fabric lol) im going to have to do sonething different for the closures. My machine did a horrible job on button holes fabric to thick - I think?
